Every connection uses 256-bit TLS, and your financial data is encrypted at rest with AES-256. Sensitive fields in the Family Vault are protected with an additional layer of encryption tied to your account.
When you upload an OFX or PDF statement, Clear Mint extracts the transactions it needs and discards the rest. We don't keep raw documents longer than required to process them, and you can delete imported data at any time.
Prefer no connections at all? The Lifetime No-API plan lets you run everything from your own uploads — no third-party bank API ever touches your credentials.
