1. Our commitment

We aim to ensure that everyone can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Service, regardless of ability or assistive technology. Accessibility is part of our design and review process, not an afterthought.

2. Conformance target

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. This effort supports our obligations under Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the federal Accessible Canada Act (ACA).

3. What we do

  • Use semantic HTML, headings, and labels so screen readers can navigate the Service.
  • Provide visible keyboard focus and support keyboard navigation.
  • Aim for sufficient colour contrast and scalable, legible text.
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
  • Consider accessibility when adding or changing features.

4. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the Service may not yet be fully accessible — for example, certain complex charts and data visualizations, or third-party components we embed. We are actively working to identify and address these areas, and we welcome your reports.

5. Feedback & help

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information from Clear Mint in a different format, please contact us at support@clearmint.ca. We try to respond within a few business days and will work with you to provide the information or service you need.
